i'd do the ashley if you wanted, head right up to the gorge

ive got a prity stock surf with just a 2 body lift and 32s reckon she could handle it?

it will piss bowl it, river is so low will take alot of rain to fill it up. I've taken people on 31s to the gorge with river pretty full before. Come along worst thing can happen is you pull out half way up. Road follows river up so you can leave anytime you want

I got stuck with water coming through the windows down the ashley.. on 33's with 4inch lift and snorkel.....

But that was just because i didnt choose my spot lol. Truly you can do it in a standard truck, just make sure you know the depth before attempting.

If you're going down the ashley make sure you enter from the northern track well upstream from the bridge by the BMX track as we have been asked to stay out of that section of the river due to nesting birds. The NC4wd club did some clearing last weekend so you can go quite a way upstream through the gorse/trees etc now.

If you don't know where I mean let me know and I'll dig out the GPS and get the info for ya.
