How far will your disco go on 50 bux 3.9v8 auto

just wandering how far u can get your disco 1 3.9v8 auto on $50.00
thing is im driving my old l300 to work and with $50.00 i can only get 200kms i get to pick up my disco on saterday and am wondering is it worth me using that to go to work in or stick to the old l300 im thinking there cant be much in it and would much prefuer to take my disco with more comfort and power

$180 gets me 480 ks in disco, so $50 will get you not far,or about 133ks

Mind you - ringin it out in low ratio top gear prob doesn't help...

Yeah I only get about 350-400km's out of a tank, 88ltrs If I recall. A wee bit thirsty

there only two positions in my truck idle and full throttle , was talking road miles, offroad i do not want to even know how little you get per tank, but is fairly dismal.

Easy, fill up the disco at begining of week drive to and from work and at end of week fill it up again and if it comes to more than $50 go back to using the 300 or you could do what i did when i went from my surf to my fj40 and make it a challenge to drive as economicaly and use the best route as possible to try and get it down a bit not easy when your in a hurry and a heavy foot is needed
