FS: 1990 Suzuki Escudo and some parts

Post by williamhamilton »

I have an 1990 Escudo sitting in the shed, which I have had for a couple of months but never used - 1.6 auto with manual hubs. No WoF and reg on hold, will need rust repairs for WoF probably or just bash the s*&t out of it in the bush or the farm.

I hope to get it dirty this weekend but it is for sale whether I blow it up or not, funds needed for other project - not sure what it is worth as I am not a Zuki person but anything around $50,000 would be instantly accepted for sure :) (yes I am joking!!)

Parts avail

Auto Transmission/transfer box

Rear door

Both front doors (internal handle missing from one it looks like)

4 Rims and tyres - possibly original silver ones

ARB Winch bar

9000 Bull winch (solenoid pack and remote there but as yet not tested)
I will get pics and upload shortly.

Hey guys sorry only saw the messages.. no email reminders means I am on here less (a good thing) but miss stuff I wanted to follow (a bad thing)

Zuki is still avail (being used over the next few days but only on the road) - bar still avail (a-frame to suit also avail), winch avail (still untested) - rims/tyres, spare transmission and doors.. I was almost a Zuki convert but not even got time to play in the magic of FJ40 world :)

Drop me a pm and we can arrange viewing/pics etc.

Yea, though I drive through the valley of death (and it's mudbogs), I shall fear no trail;for tho art modified is my rig, and thy lift kit and lockers they comfort me. Amen

HI! Yea that's me, very confused and a little bit scared, but unbelievably excited about the project. I was looking at it before but i also heard that body lift kits require pretty much entire new wiring system and all sorts of modifications, however that one looks like just a bolt in one (and cheap as well!).. and ones again, confused:)

Best bet would be to join a club up where you are , ya can't go wrong, heaps of knoweledge, a small body lift would at most require extended brake lines , maybe an engine mount to re-align fan and fan cowling etc , don't quote me on that I don't have a Zuk , I got a jeep there's a whole lot to do for body lift on that. Our club ( Manawatu) requires 2x trips and 2x meetings you must go on before being voted in, up your way there is South Waikato 4WD club and waikato 4WD club, contact details are in the back of the NZ 4x4 Action Mag.
Hope this helps some
Cheers
Greg

For the fella that txt $200 for the winch - I have not yet tested it but think it is worth more than that even if not working :)
