Thatll be a good trip, We used to always do it just before it got closed for winter. Make sure you take lots of pics for us. :D

Don't forget to check out the Doc restored water wheel,great little side track on the way [ depending which way you go...lol..] and plenty to look at

Can't get down to the waterwheel anymore except on foot....

It was on private land and there is now a fence with no gate across the track.
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)

Nothing wrong with pulling on the boots for stint.

This is going back 7 or 8 years, but back then that track was getting torn up.

It was the track i liked...lol..also the history of course..do the walking when you get there, [ just a shame but never mind ] if you look around you will be amazed what is there..i mucked around in there for 3 days the last time i was there

I was in there a couple of years a go and the track wasn't to bad,it was mainly rocky but there were some wash outs but certainly nothing to drastic
The serpentine was far worse but i think there has been quite a lot of work done on the track....people had not been sticking to the track

I got stuck up there for 8 hours once many years ago..the track was really bad at the time and it started to snow..the peat bog was incredible,i had ARB lockers & Simexs to ..had to dig the spare in about 6 times ..never forget that trip ..i have a ground anchor these days ....lol..last time there it was just a nice easy trip but dry and the track had a lot of work done
