Had a mean weekend,first round of the national trials series and my first event being co driver,all was going well till the the steering box decided to rip it self off the chassis of the big bad lada,bring on round 2

Decided to escape the city and oval ball mayhem so loaded up the truck and headed north for three days of exploring, all the way up ninety mile beach several times... had a good hunt around some of the forestry tracks behind the beach, got my shovel work once or twice. Got horribly lost on some forestry path looking for a suitable campsite and ended up on the east coast (Rarawa Beach, which was a VERY welcome surprise)

All in all a bloody great weekend despite the lack of fish... and the desperate need for a new radiator for the beast... anyone got one?

my friend did a cv boot on his challenger but fitted the axle back into the diff with a hammer so had to pop down and help fix the end of axle up and refit hub assy back on

Headed west as far as you can drive along the south coast then came back along Oreti beach - fast, it is in great shape at the mo!
