Hi all,
Started the jeep up this morning and started to rev really high, about 2700 then crept up to 3000 revs. Checked the water and it was low so i topped it up then started it up again until it got warm but no change.
Its currently at my mechanics who is working it out, but if anyone can shed some light on why its doing this would be awesome? then i can let me mechanic know
Cheers
Fraser

Re: Jeep TJ - High Idling - 3k revs
Fixed!
Haha whoops, my mechanic said there was heaps of crap in the intake at the air filter wasnt sitting properly. Also some crap (mud etc) got into the throttle body so they sprayed some stuff in to it to clean it or something.
Good as new!
Next on the list is a snorkel!!
(good thread incase it happens to someone else)
