4 AGE sump needed modified for rear oil pick up.

Hi there,
I'm looking on behalf of a mate for a 4 AGE (86-88 1600 twin cam, blue top) sump for his Suzuki.
His one is set up for front mount oil pick up but due to the recent big end running dry, he's on the search for a modified rear pick up and possibly a modified lower sump bowl.
If there is anyone who knows of one or if someone has done this mod before, I would like to hear. I will pass contact details on to my friend.

haven't done a 4age, but did my ca18. Cut the bowl off the flange just above the shapes for the crank. Turn around, and weld back together. make some patches for the bits that dont line up. The pick up will likely have a couple of bends in it to center it in the bowl, cut and extend to be in the centre of the new rear bowl. Its pretty easy so long as the bowl shape is reasonably retangular to start with.

front sump should be fine, unless its been modified, ive always over filled my old toyota motors that i thrash, ran bearing sin 4age and 3sge mtors before , especially with the angles put on oil pickup placememnt while 4x4ing

Was just in there yesterday so will have to wait for a few more days for something else to break then ill ask
