Hey there, names Zac, and i live out muriwai,im new to the whole 4x4 scene and have purchased a 94 hilux surf, hoping to get into offroading a bit, this is my first 4wd as i have previously only owned subarus, but after having other people write them off, ive decided to go down a different path and looking to have a bit of fun with it :D

Welcome to ORE :D

I'll jump in first and say it's best yo join a club, as they are the best way of finding runs to go on etc.

And be biased, I'll suggest that Norwest OHV is a good club for you, seeing as it's right around where you live.

We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month at Paddy's bar in Kumeu if you wanna come along and have a chat :D

EDIT: There are other clubs around the Auckland area too

club or group support is the best way to go in this past time.
