looking good, cant tell much from pic's . is it doing wat you expected as far as strength of spring and ballance goes.
How do you think a quarter elliptical leaf setup would go in the front , deranged and I had sort off been talking about it before you started yours and seeing that kind of makes me want to look at it further... anything different is cool.

Yeah ive been thinking about it too  Cant see any problems tho. Still be using some sort of link set up. They are just springs at the end of the day. Might have to beef up the packs to handle the extra weight.

Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Its unloading in the rear big time. Thinking I might fix the rear leaves to the chassis and slam an O'hallaran joint on the diff end of shackle because the twist on the hinge point (spring to chassis) and spring pack is horrendous. I'll carry a spare spring reguardless
The spring rate seem good. At full compression the pack is almost straight which hopefully will sit flat once barwork and other sundry weight is added. Not worried about it being a body roll king. It'll be caged

i am toms 60 and i have a confession...

i used to be well loved. you see, for a while he decided to make me more capable.. promised me candle lit dinners and walks on the beach.. even to go away on adventures together and for me to be his one and only, but now as of late i think he's been cheating on me.. he never wants to spend quality time with me and comes home at all hours of the night smellin of weldin fumes and cut metal, not to mention lubrication oils!

i'm willing to do what it takes to get our relationship back online. rekindle that spark..

yours lovingly..

toms 60..

Dear toms 60,

Its not even been a month since I showed yo the time of your life. It seams like the longer we have been together the more demanding you get....

Yes, I have looked and a few younger models, maybe even held a few of them, but you are the only one truck I love...

Although those younger V8 70 series seam to have a nice arse

Went on a snow trip the other weekend over here in the land of Maple Syrup  ( BC Canada) A couple of the trucks had these tyres. They are freakin huge! and flat out worked in the snow. They did love to feed on axle shafts and u joints though haha
