just curious what you guys think about removing tortions and putting adjustable shocks in with springs instead of having tortions and shock in different places?
if you guys understand what i mean...

you mean remove torsions and fit coilovers ?
i would check to see what spare space there is. not to sure with the terrno's but the shocks only just fit in on the utes, unless you have aftermarket arms on it.

Yea that's what I mean the ones on right just smaller. If there was room do you think they would work like Tortion?
Re: removing tortions for shocks for d21 terrano
i cant see y not? would probably need certed and tbh i cant see any real gains for doing the conversion
Re: removing tortions for shocks for d21 terrano
with adjustables you will have to get the correct spring rate and be prepared to get the shocks rebuilt every 20,000kms.
and you wont get the same flex as torisons

You would still be limited by the travel of the stock A arms, so no gain

Agree'd, If you have torsions or coilovers you still wont gain anything because your limited to the movement of the standard A arms.
