Update, its up and running, only problem is it wont go into overdrive... and if i select D it starts off in 2nd.. im thinking the trans computer might be buggered?
Rear diff is whining really loudly, and front seal is leaking, so im just going to drive it until it wont no more, just wondering about the old banana trick to shut it up, is it just a whole peeled banana?

Got it ready for a wheel alignment today! new top arm bushes and lower balljoints, wasnt as hard as i thought it was going to be either.

Only problem is i cant really drive it to the alignment shop... due to the auto not selecting 1st, or overdrive...(go to nissan section to read full details)

Cant wait to get it out for a decent 4wd mish! been to long

Got he going again today. For some reason say im at holding 2000rpm, then give a rev and then get right off the throttle, it'll just die out, unless i give a little more throttle to bring it back? happens when coming up to corners etc now, slow down with no throttle and it will just die.

Trans is still fucked.

Also just found out the water pump is leaking.... Wouldnt worry me that much, but dont know if i want to do it knowing that the trans is still not functioning.

They have a removable bellhousing unlike 5spd, but gotta undo the trans pump bolts to undo if I remember correctly.
But could swap rd28 auto bellhousing and td27 auto bellhousing for example.

Hey u13 turbo- any luck with getting that auto behaving itself yet?

Nope... Not yet, Tried a new TPS as that seemed to be farked. Didnt change the issues though. Im going to take it to ace-o-matic sometime this month and get them to try find the fault.. if they cant, I'll just sell as is, and use the money for a new non 4wd related project.. missing 4wding so much though, been a couple of months now.

Picked up a new terrano today. Thanks to Hamish for hooking me up with the deal.

Same as my old one, except MANUAL!

Rear diff is completely fucked, makes a terrible grinding noise on decceleration, front right wheel bearing is loose as farrk. Other than that, seems good as.

Got bullbars, that carry on round into rocksliders, 31" muds, 2" sus and 2" body lift.

Nah the auto i put in my other one had just been rebuilt. it an electrical issue. Now i thought i had tried a new auto computer for mine, but then in my new manual one found the same computer in the back... so im guessing I got it muddled up, do you know were the TCU is?

Bit of a mish making a safa box fitting wouldnt it?

It should do? You can add me if you want too see it.

So picked up a HG46 LSD diff for her, For the low price of $100!

Once thats in I just have to sort the front wheel bearings, get my manual hubs on, take for wof(hoping it will pass..) and then sort the front diff(have 2 whole front diffs in the boot, In pieces...) Then take it for a blat!

One question with the diff, Its completely apart, like ring gear and pinion are seperate, With setting backlash etc, What do I do? I have never had a diff apart like this and am pretty lost...

Cheers
