Can anyone tell me how to install these Hubs. I've got the Left one in correctly but the spings on the right side came apart... And it's locked all the time. Won't unlock...
Pictures would help...
Toyota Electric Hub Install.
Are you refering to the Prado/landcruiser electric hubs, if so then you need to completly strip it down, and screw the spring into the slideing dog first. Its a bit tricky, took me a while to sus it out. If you give me a call, ican explane it to you.
Or if you send it to me i can fix it for you.

Turn the hub lock switch off first then, screw the spring in so is fully compressed before you put the sliding sleeve back on. Make sure the sleeve is lined up properly with the hub body (there are 2 splines larger than the rest this must line up with the sleeve clips otherwise the sleeve won't slide out went the motor is turning).
Have welding rods will travel
Turn the hub splined dog to compress the dog in to the free position, then turn it in the opperstit direction untill the little tabs on the metal backing star thingy line up with the two bolt holes on the cap , that would be at 9oclock and 3oclock, if the motor was at 12oclock.
