F/S - beam axle Prado

Post by RJT »

For sale: Beam axle 1990 EX5 Prado.
-2LTE with 3L head, 218,000km (40,000km ish on 3L head)
-Auto, real smooth
-Sunroof, air con, elecs, boost gauge etc
-3" suspension lift
-33/15.5/15 Maxxis Bighorns x4 with heaps of tread, 33/12.5/16 BFG at as spare
-Lockrite front diff locker
-Custom front bar with 12,000lb Iron Man winch, used once
-full 2.5" exhaust
-Airflow snorkel
-Front and rear tow hook + 1 extra
-AVM/Aisin manual hubs + 2 spares

Overall in good nick, bent running boards, a dent in right rear door and one on front right guard the only big blemishes. It goes great especially offroad!!! Slight whine from rear diff (good for someone to check out and chuck a rear locker in). Will be sold without WOF and REG on hold, RUC up to date. Though if I do get WOF/REG prior to sale will up the price a bit. Going in for WOF tue 29th. Only issues I see are:
-Brakes require bleeding
-Exhaust rear section from above axle back needs replacing
-Issue with high beams sorted
Only reason I'm not actively going out to fix it is no spare time or cash. Will sell cheaper without 33's and/or winch. Genuine reason for sale.

Offers - Or swap for Bighorn/Mistral maybe

Well, Thanks Rhys for the wagon.
We made it back to Nelson last nght after a quick mission on Saturday afternoon/Sunday morning to sort headlights and brakes and the rear exhaust pipe. Headlights all sorted, exhaust cut and rebent thanks to mr grinder and a big bar. but the brakes were a bit more of a hassle, turns out the master cylinder is stuffed and we had no luck trying to find a new one Sunday morning, so it was a slowish trip home. New master cylinder ordered and should be here tomorrow. :D

I'm stoked with it so far, a few little jobs and time to get it dirty. :D
