Super Cheap has them for 29.99.

Was just reading the brochure.

you dont actually need those things, you can remove your towbar and just use the reciever and pin just as affectively and its safer not having a shackle and piece of box section that can potentialy go flying if something lets go

Yeah, I have done that a couple off times, but i keep thinking its going to bend my pin.

I understand what you saying, but there is no room for movement with that adapter.
I mean as opposed to pulling on the center of the pin that has no support, for well, 2"

just get a new hitch pin so its snug in the holes and you will be better off than spending 30 notes on something probably knocked up in china.....

I was a bit worried abt the pin so just drilled the receiver and the trailer hitch out to 20mm (21 or 22??)and bought a $15 implement pin from a tractor place. Keep the shackles out of the system I recon.
