Very VERY easy Brett, a complete "drop in", I will get pics on tomorrow.
First off, I had to remove and cut down the engine lift bracket on the back of the power steer pump, then put back pump and bracket. The dizzy was already out, as you have to give Brian the new distributor and the old one so he can make one out of the two. That was the two hardest things to do out of it all
I then test fitted the HEI and she fits absolutely perfect, no grinding needed, at all. For a constant good power supply, I am going to run a "hot wire" from the batt to a relay and then directly to the HEI unit. I will use the original coil feed to switch the relay and just for safety's sake I will put a circuit breaker in between the batt and relay. Wiring is in place, just have to spend tomorrow night soldering all the tabs on.
I would of had all the leads on, but, this morning I took the cap off to test fit the distributor and noticed the bakerlite mold is cracked where the coil seats

, so I will have to get a new cap asap. Also I will have to change the radiator hose but that's no biggy.
It is a much easier change over than I thought and I really can't wait to get this thing going.
