yea im not saying don't buy from them (just because i wouldn't) but if you do be aware of there poor reputation and consider any purchase to be as is where is condition. Obviously those aren't the rules for a registered motor dealer but be prepared to have to take them to court if it goes pear shaped.
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with experiance!

Cheers for the warning guys, much appreciated. Im pretty sure if vehicles are sold through auction, vehicle is automatically sold as is where is. its part of the cosumer guarantees act. so TM makes it way easier for dealers to get out of any guarantees.
but thats why i want someone to check it for me. someone either with experience with prados or a mechanic.
Not gunna buy sight unseen.
cheers.

interior is awful in that one.. Insurance value on a mint prado is about 8K so I wouldn't pay much more than that.

my partner has brought from them twice and has been great service both times. simon really went out of his way for us. first car we traded a 96 civic in for a 98 gtb wagon. he gave her $6000 trade in towards the legacy price of $14000. 12 months latter she went back to him because of a s15 turbo silvia that stood out to her. he offered her $12000 for the gtb 12months latter as a trade which amazed me. his trade in prices for us were great and saved hassel of selling privatly. his service was great.

as for the both cars the legacy had a centre diff blow (warrenty covered this) and the silvia a split fuel hose. no other problems with either cars and have owned the silvia for 2 years now.

bear in mind this was when in was only dealing in modified cars - not the 4wds he does now

edit: i think toms off road done a safari recently that looks like it was similar to the one bling bling was selling. maybe track that guy down if he did buy from him and see what his service was like with him
Current 4wd: Surf Kzn185 ssrg factory Intercooled (yet to start build)
Past 4wd: toyota surf ln130, coil sas, 1uz v8 build

Yea mate thats the problem with this dude, he starts auctions with super low start bid to get people interested but his reserve is stupidly high.
I have looked at a few of his trucks but in my opinion they are overpriced :!:
Just wok awaaaay
