dual transfer assembly - shifter shaft mod

Post by muddyhilux »

hi guys, just put the dual cases together on the brother n laws truck in the weekend, all went smooth, very nice unit but the one issue we have is the the front shifter when moved to low pushes the rear case shift fork back a bit as well, ive measured up and looks like I just have to slice 5mm or so off the back of front shifter shaft or front of rear shifter shaft

for those that have assembled these before have you come across the same situation and is this how you've resolved it?unless ive missed something somewhere but was definitely nothing in the instructions about shortening shifter shafts

cheers guys
