Snow was in poor condition for walking on....

I was 4th in the group and as I was heading across the worst piece towards the shute in above pic some ice fell off the rocks above, creating a small snow slide and the snow moved about 2 metres in front, enough to get me windy and the rope was on the other side so Dad and I waited while the other 3 summited. They then roped across where the snow slide had been.

Well decided to get some work done on BlackDeath to get it ready to hit the tracks again, so the list went something like this...

Saturday
Rear side windows in - check :!:
drink beer - check :!:
Drivers door removed - check :!:
drink more beer - check :!:
Remove broken ignition and fit replacement one - check :!:
talk shyt about truck - check :!:
Remove broken windscreen - check :!:
drink even more beer - check :!:
talk about owsum cars and what we would own if we had the money - check :!:
BBQ and heaps of other food - check :!:
Finish putting replacement drivers door on - check :!:
beer for the road - check :!:

Sunday
Fix drivers door so locking part would stay up and not auto lock - check :!:
Fit new windscreen - check :!:
time for a beer - check :!:
Batteries on charge - check :!: and still on charge as well I might add
Start the clean up process on the inside - check :!: by the way, this was a mission on it's own - a 4 hour mission :!:
Rewire reducer for cooling fans after being ripped out - check :!:
BBQ time - need more meat and stuff ... supermarket run - check :!:
More beer required as well - check :!:

Rear body mounts farked they have punched through and the body is lower than the rear bar and sitting on the diesel tank that needs replacing as well.
Replacement diesel tank sorted and ready for fitting but have to fix rear mounts first as a couple of the nuts that hold the diesel tank in have broken the weld and are just free spinning - bugger :!:

All in all it was a good mission on the ol' girl, she it looking like it used too... well I should really say it is getting fixed as it will never look like it used to :!: :!:

Non-4x4 realated, brought some degreaser and cleaned the frame on my bike, getting ready for replacement motor that will be here on Wednesday or Thursday next week - can't wait :!: :!:
Two new spark plugs, oil and coolant as well - new chain and sprockets should be here on Monday or Tuesday.

I really miss my bike   lesson learnt though replace chain and sprockets sooner rather than later.
