Looks good there fella. Well done
I do have a wee question  Is the gap between the sliders and the sill big enough for a foot to go through? Could be nasty if so

this question isnt aimed at you but in everyone in general, why hasnt anyone rolled or bent to the shape of a guard? i personally dont like the look of the 'usual' guard bar work, is it just tooo hard or is a time thing? or a machine thing?

the high and mighty time factor is a major thing in this, choose the standard look as there is work piling up that needs to be done, and this toyo was in the way :D

you mean like this? I got my one rolled in a set of tube rollers, but it actually needs to be bent in two planes, actually its curved in two planes, wasn't easy at all, I suppose you could do it with a bunch of little bends next to each other, but I suspect it would come out looking like an octagon
IT was quite hard to get one side an exact mirror of the other too, looks oddball if it aint right

With the sliders is it ok to weld to chassis or does that require a cert.

Sorry but I don't like them.
The sliders are too far from the body.
The angle of the pipe along the side by the guard looks wrong.
They look like they would get hooked on anything they touch.
But that's just my opinion
As you were

Or like this (following gaurd shape)?
As jafa said, it is a bitch to do. Mine still have to get the flares fitted over the top of the bar work yet.

Something else worth noting on those side bars is that there is no actual sill protection. Now if you like having your truck looking like a massive, beaten up piece of shit, that is fine. But if you are fitting barwork to actullay protect the skin, then you have to think about what takes the biggest hiding.
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

yeah there way out there but you can see there like that to stay in line with the width of the deck to try at stop it from getting hooked up

Yea I can sorta see the logic behind them and I don't like to knock others work but perhaps if there was another bar put through the gap between the body and the outside they may look a bit better. :?:

yes can see that, but these are welded to chassis which i don't like, straight off plus the ends are unsupported, can, will rip the chassis,at sometime
