Love the radiator shroud that is some mighty fine sheet metal work. Now if only I could do something that nice......
Good work and good luck on that TM issue.

As I recall, it was a guy who I suspect is an auto-sparky offering advice on how to mount your coil... thats not negative feedback, thats just someone offering good advice. Learn to take it... when you post a project people will always offer their opinion... thats the point. You get lots of opinions, and you take the good ones (and sometimes the bad ones) that you like, and you run with 'em. (or on a bad day you get your knickers in a twist about it... I've done that too... look at all the great 'advice' I got when I said I wanted to 350 chev a bighorn )

This is how our friendly American 4WDing brothers deal with bad sellers... theres over 70 pages here on this one post and I killed a couple of late nights reading through to around page 50... its hillarious, mixed with a little bit scarey, mixed with some good old-fashioned mob-mentality. Lets find this Barry Maxwell and Wenzel the bastard!

The fatter and more accurate spark will make a new motor of it.
I have seen several of these done and they work out a cheap mod.

sorry, wheres my manners, the 90 looks good Furgus. Are you going to get some new tyres in the build?
Furgus wrote:Thanks - yeh I've got a set or 34" Swampers to put on it for playing & we'll stick a set of Baja Claws (35x12.5R15) on Beadlocked rims on for any comps we do.
What sort of axles are you running?
Looking at the previous page where you show a pic of the new rear end just fitted it looks to me like you have got 10 spline axles in there.
Surely you are going to (or have already changed) these if fitting a locker and 34" tyres.
Interested in seeing what other people are using for axles and their thoughts / experiences on these as I myself am a little undecided on how to improve this LR weak link.
