just brought a 2lt motor putting it in a 84 surf with a 2l motor in it just wondering if any 1 has got a pic of the wiring loom and anything else that i need to watch out for

if you keep you existing alternator, wiring should be straight forward.
depending what sensors the 2l has you may just have to swap a few over.

how would i get on with the turbo sensor where would i find a wiring diagram for the 2lt have looked on google and here and cant find 1 anywhere

don't need it. fit a boost gauge instead.
theres only fuel solenoid which is in the same place as the old one, temp sensor for the gauge (may need to change sensor to the old one),
alternator, starter motor, aircon fan temp switch (if its got it).
i can't remember if 2l had oil pressure gauge. if its only got oil pressure switch you will have to swap that over to the 2lt. there should be a spare location you can use or simply remove the oil sensor, fit the switch and extend the wire.
alternator is the big headache if the old one won't fit on the 2lt.

k cheers yea im going to move the alternator upwards anyway sick of it sucking in water and dying the 2l one right down the bottom
