I can see some debate over who was the "man" on the day, the paddock was full of entertainment.

What a great day, who knew you could have so much fun in a flat paddock

This was the maiden offroad voyage for my lux after a looong rebuild (it would put nibz to shame in its lenght  )

It only took a few minutes to turn it from this:

to this:

But it started to look normal again after lining up at the car wash,O.R.E style :D

Looking forward to the next one, Just not the clean up after

It was well worth the wait from what I saw ;-) and heard. Truck sounded bloody good

I watched from up on the hill by the entry - not sure if the Falcon would have made it out of that pits area

It amazed me the number of people attempting to drive their 4wd's out of the car park in 2wd. One Toyota towing a trailer continually churned up the clay in 2wd as he struggled to make his way to the exit. No thoughts or consideration about the others in cars that had to follow his slippery mess.

That was me! Wasn't exactly churning up the clay or struggling , I was in first low doing about 2km/hr and was trying to drive responsibly . One front hub hadn't locked in properly hence the 2wd. A friendly person yelled out and the issue was sorted.

did you keep watching as as the shiny SUV proceeded to pull in front of me and slow down/stop as I was climbing the hill out of the carpark towing a vechile trailer!!!

Or how out the the people with 2wd tow vechiles that fanged across the carpark at break neck speed to make it up the hill , or the noobs that though it would be a good idea to park across the access.

At least I brought a 4wd , if you were concerned about negotiating the clay you should have parked up at the race track and caught the bus down.

Yeah, I watched him drift sideways on the wrong side of the road around a blind corner towing a trailer.

Red Station wagon with P Plate V8 something...

Was heaps of clay up on the tarmac by then so only way out for a 2wd would have been to fang it.

Yep

The Irish girl in the back freaked out when I took them for a drive. Melissa (my friend) was fine, working for 4x4 action and all...

Also, I'm assuming you got the Jeep bits OK? Marcel told me to look for you with a blue umbrella, but I only managed to come across some foreign guy, and have up looking for you
