Part two of new Zuk maintenance.

Friday night: Install new extractors & new gasket. Burn off all the nice orange paint

Saturday:
Drain radiator, remove timing belt, adjust timing, install new belt and tensioner.
Remove rocker cover, measure and adjust valve clearance. Replace gasket. Replace coolant.

Runs like a bloody champ now. The timing was slightly off which must have been causing the car to be noticeably shakey at idle but that's cleared up.
Quite a difference in power since fitting the extractors and getting the timing sorted out.

That's pretty much it for maintenance, a few things worth doing when I can be bothered are the fuel filter, plug leads, new radiator (the fan has faceplanted it at some stage).
But I trust the truck to do a lot of mileage over the next few weeks now :)

Right up there with the "show us your...." threads where twats post up trucks that theyve seen on websites or theyve taken photos of when driving down the road, rather than just sticking to the post heading.

Anyway, Merry F*****G Christmas

"Psychopath - a person afflicted with a personality disorder characterized by a tendency to commit antisocial and sometimes violent acts and a failure to feel guilt for such acts"

What? You have a tendancy to want to cause other people harm?? You dont care if you cause other people harm, and in fact would be "happy" about it? Although "antisocial" is in that definition, I fail to see how the rest relates unless there is a subtle thread of a deeper untapped urge laying dormant in the psyche, waiting to be free. Creepy, although not entirely unexpected.

After all....

Thats what a Safari will do to ya.
