Safari TD42 Manual conversion advice
Got myself a manual box and parts to do a manual conversion, any hints tips or tricks you guys can give would be much appreciated..

Hey - I just read this thread, so you have probably already done it lol.
If it was anything like mine, the most time consuming part for me......Bolting in the clutch pedal?!?!?! The bolts are in the MOST AWKWARD place... so hard to get too without complety removing the entire dashboard, which i would probably consider doing if I was to ever do it again - be less cursing that way haha

yes the dreaded clutch pedal..what a pain in the behind...turned out its not that hard to do the manual conversion..only problem i had was i must have bumped the clutch fork putting gearbox in, that took me 2 hours to fix going through the clutch fork hole realigning the fork spring.

pedal is a brezee after i did about 10 of them

when I helped Reece swap his old truck over to a new rolling chassis/body I ended up spending half a day pulling his whole dash, seats, carpet, steering collum, heater, seatbelts, back seats, doors, radiator, tail lights, roofrack and all the shit out to get the clutch pedalbox out of it and he reckoned he stuck it into his new truck without pulling it all to bits.... farked if I know how he did it?
