brake pads ...

Ok i know this sounds stupid but im changing the bake pads on my ln130 and the last slide pin wont line up what ever i do the bottom one lines up fine but the top is about 2 mm out on the top tried pushing it forewords wont bend that far and alsorts had me stumped for about a hour now any ideas?

sounds like the new pads are different, have you checked them against the old ones that came out?

yup there the same ive done the other side and they fit perfect but the drivers side doesnt want to go i might just give the pin a little tap with the hammer make it bend a little ....

sounds like one of the pads isnt locating properly if the holes arent lineing up?

made it fit now bang there hit there and shes in its a bloody tight fit tho

can the pads still move freely on the pins?

Have you fitted the anti rattle springs etc properly?

yup just took her out for a ride doesnt pull to one side under break and no squeaking or anyting
