tyres hole plug..

Post by goosebayhunter »

Hi guys just found in one of my tyres a screw so i pulled it out so it wouldnt rip any more of my tyre. once i pulled it out there is a big hole in my tubeless tyre and it went down of course. and i was wondering if there is anything you are able to buy off the shelf somewhere to fix the hole? eg some sort of plug. just thinking about if i get a nice bit of wire or simiular in my tyre way out in the wapwaps i am able to plug it and carry on.. cheers any info in advance would be great appreciated.

Yea there's a kit you can get from repco / supercheap etc that's basicly for what you describe- temporary repairs out in the wopwops.
Not a legal repair tho- you'll fail a wof if it gets spotted, but could be good to get you out of trouble.
Haven't used myself so sorry, can't give you any review

Those kits are real cheap at super cheap ....the tool is about $5 & a packet of 3 plugs is about $5 also.
But are only a temp fix to get ya home as can fail with no warning ...you must get it fixed properly ASAP
