raised towbars
raised towbars
I have a surf that has been lifted and runs 33s. I need to put a tow bar on it. Where is the best place to get one. I need it low enough to tow a car trailer but need to be able to remove it for when its off road. Where it bolts to the chassis is roughly 800mm above the ground so it will need a to drop roughly 400mm

If you already have a removable towbar you can buy a slide in adjustable drop one from supercheap. Something like $150 but not sure if it would be a 400mm drop.

yeah but you'd need diagonal braces back to the chassis rails from the tounge, Rob had one on his safari that bolted on and off easily, he towed blackdeaths safari up to hawkes bay and back with it a couple of years ago
