What is the best nissan v8 motor to use offroad? I'm looking at the vh vk series. What are they like compared to the 1uz-fe?

The vk, in my understanding,is basically an updated version of the vh.
The Nissan v8s are a physically larger engine than the Toyotas, so harder to put into a tight engine bay...
Haven't had any experience with either in a 4wd tho so can't comment on that, but sure that either would go better than my weezy diesel! :lol:

One of the winch challenge competitors Darin from up north had a VH in his mwb Safari ,Went very well (could even leap tall tyres in a single bound) :lol: if you drop him a pm im sure he will tell you all the ins and outs of putting one in

Its going in something a bit different to the norm. Space isn't an issue due to what's happening with engine bay. There is pretty much nothing limiting what engine can go in
