Cheers bud, your's looks nice too with a pretty decent approach angle.
I just order a new computer which according to the supplier should give me 12-20% more power depending on which setting (economy, street race or drag) making the most of my crow cams etc. Ok, i'm shaking a little. So long as I don't do anything silly like floor it , I will be OK. have seen a few to many episodes of home improvement (more power ).

I would say he used a Tyre Groover and the upside of doing it would be to improve the clearing of the mud i would imagine, Would love to do it to my tyres but once its done its done there's no going back.But a few off the guys that like the sticky stuff seem to be doing it

Hammer and Chisel won't work BUT I once did some dirt track tyres with a chainsaw, stunk like you wouldn't believe

I used a tyre groover, but ive heared you can use a gas torch to heat up a sharp knife/chisel and that works too.

Triple block simexs clog up quite easy in the middle, and suzukis are quite light so will hopefully help the tyre bag more and clear mud better.

Good point with the bagging. I have to air down to around 2. Psi on the rear to bag properly.

That must make a big differace to traction in the mud.

I'm wondering if using a tire Grover and doing a series of x's in the existing blocks.

Probably easter Heating up a chisel with a blow torch, that Should slice through
Nicely.

Thanks, its got a few dents around the body but its clean under the hood and goes well. Today I did end up getting wheels and tyres.

15x7 steel rims from mudbits
235 / 75 / 15 Kumho KL71

So this is mine now , now with 2.5v6 springs, 1996 Renault 19 rear shocks, strut cap flip, 16" GV wheels with 225/75/16 muds. Rear bumper has steel removed as it was bent and rusty. Front bumper is a Lada item with custom mounts. Otherwise its standard carby affair just with a bunch of new parts in it.

Want to get a new front diff, grill, right guard, roll cage and seats and harnesses soon too.

Back can flex more, just need to do a mod to shocks, also need to compare these shocks to the VL ones I got recently to see what is better. Springs do come uncaptive, but have not fallen out yet off road. Front is limited a bit by the springs now as tehy are a trifle stiff, not overly but more than the standard ones, doesn't quite hit bump stops. might try backing up ramp next time to see if they do with more weight on them.

Is currently on farm reg but hopefully be put back to normal passenger vehicle - Will get a WOF then pull it to bits for a tidy up!

Needing to source a LJ80 Grille and also a indicator stalk/Combination switch if anyone has these lying about!

I know what zukmeista is saying in terms of keepng it orig, but it looks like an A15 engine which was a reallllly good engine for the 410's back in the day.

Looks tidy for its age, look forward to seeing progress.
