Annual Wairarapa Trip
Annual Wairarapa Trip
It's on again, the annual Wairarapa Trip that takes in the breath taking views from the Sutherlands Track and ends up at the Mudnutz farm for a spot of clay bird shooting and land kayaking followed by a BBQ and a night to remember!
When = 14/15 January 2012
What to bring? - Food for the BBQ, refreshments for you and anyone else that you bring along. Tent for sleeping in or you may have to share the barn with a tractor or digger and the firewood.... plenty of tenting space
Cost = $20.00 per truck through the Sutherlands Track, $20.00 per truck if you chose to return via the Orongorongo station on Sunday.
Meeting place = Meeting at the Mobil station in Featherston at 8:30am and leave there at 9:15am Saturday morning, from there we will head to the start of the track, it will take about 4 hours to do the track and a short drive to the Mudnutz farm passing a little wind-farm as well.
Please let us know if you are in for this trip as we would like to know numbers.
Cheers
Reece

Intelligence is like a four-wheel drive. It allows you to get stuck in more remote places.

you'd be fine I did the trip in my 350 cruiser last year, gas up at Martinborough and that'll get you down to Te Kopi and through the Haurangis to the Mudnutz's farm and then back to Martinborough comftably

This trip is still happening even if there is only 4 people going, so there is plenty of room left for those that want to come along.
It can be a day trip or an overnighter if you wish... your call
