Workshop Wisdom

Post by UBZ »

He who welds around thinners , creates fire.

Wollen socks and a drill mounted wire brush can result in painfully having to reverse the wire bush out of your ankle.

using the wrong size ring spanner equals smashed knuckles.

vise grips and a hammer solve all problems

If you have time to polish and put away tools your not doing enough work.

Theres Nothing a welder cant fix

Screwdrivers make great prybars aswell, until the snap, causing great injury.

Bench mounted wire wheels and small objects generally result in fingers being sucked it, resulting in blood.

Using a rattle gun with a universal joint and a couple of extensions usually ends up with shit flying everywhere.

Sparks up your nose, or in your ear sucks aswell

Bench-mounted wire wheels + small objects = high speed projectiles

Bench-mounted wire wheels + small objects = missing high speed projectiles

Bench-mounted wire wheels + small objects = make new small objects

Plug-welding floors in Rail wagons + sitting on a nail box while wearing baggy shorts = sun burnt balls.

Torque Wrench = do nut up until it comes loose, then back it off half a turn.

Cheers,
