Hey all, I need photos to send to Azhar so he can put together posters etc. Obviously need to have permission from who ever is in the photos and who took them etc. They need to be of 4wds in action, the more mud or bigger the vehicle the better sort of thing. Needs to be as hi res as possible.

the sooner I can get them the better,

either email me at lincoln.norwest@gmail.com

or just post some up here?

cheers

So update time.

Dropped some Photos off to Azhar tonight. Will complement the awesome advertising that is going to be done on the net, in NZPC and posters and all that. Some very good looking advertising. 8) 8)

Also he said we can get to do any other events too, such as wings Vs Wheels at Ardmore next year too 8) So that's sweet as

Still looking for more Trucks, road legal or not. Just stuff to draw the crowds in.

Finally I questioned him regarding the security of the events and of the break-ins and that sort of thing. He was genuinely surprised to hear about them, and he described the two events that he knows of that is nothing like a break-in. So if anyone has had a car broken into on the friday then they haven't told the organisers which in my view is stupid. Why wouldn't you?

and to those who think that the nats just attracts rat bags etc, those old days have long gone, yes you still get some but you get them at every show, Kumeu, Beach Hop etc. The events are much more high profile and run with much more attention and care. This is a Proper event now. So please guys, give it a chance.

Cheers

Well, I am now REALLY needing trucks to be signed up for this.

The Nation trials have now taken a few trucks away as that is the same weekend so I really need some more trucks. Need a lot for Saturday and quite a few for Sunday.

I need confirmations as soon as possible please.

Tehre have been concerns over security of trucks left at the show grounds overnight on the friday, but the below email from Azhar should help to make you guys happy.

And questions, please, please ask me. Give me a PM, email (lincooln@gmail.com), or phone calls 0210642798

Cheers
Lincoln

There will be no concerns over the security of your trucks what so ever. I will have a dedicated security at the area of the trucks all night. Also this area will be closed for public during the setup time also which will mean safer for you guys.

I haven’t had any issues with my security side of things for the last 6 years I have been running my events so I can just about guarantee this.

Thanks

Dates are 28-29 Jan

Friday (27th) is setup day at the ASB show grounds in Greenlane. This is from about 5:30pm to about 7 or 8pm.Trucks will be kept in a fenced off area all night and will have security with them all night.

Saturday pack up is after the show finishes at 6pm, gates open again at 6:30 so you can leave anytime after that.

Sunday is the demo day at Meremere. This requires you to either park your truck up there over night or be down at Meremere by absolutely no later than 7am, 6:30am is the ideal time to arrive.

Hi all

I need to please have the confirmations for Sunday if you want to attend.

This is at Meremere on Sunday the 29th. We will be using the hill on the right side of the strip where in previous years has been moto-X. and if the weather continues as it is now then it will be quite slippery and interesting.

You will need to be at the Strip on the Sunday by 7am. Absolutely no later than 7am. 6:30am will be Ideal.

Also if a few guys with winches come that would be great as they would like some sort of winch demo too.

any questions please ask away.

Also thanks for the offers of ramps etc. I will be in touch in due course.

The following is on behalf of Lincooln: (he is away where there is no such thing as the internet  )

If you are keen to have your truck in the show on the Saturday, send a pic or two of it to lincoln.norwest@gmail.com

And for the Sunday, no tracks have been set up yet, that will be done the weekend before the actual event. But it is likely to involve a bit of mud, as it is quite often wet at the bottom of the hill, and then the hill itself will help to make things interesting. So should be quite good. :D
