Yeah, thats alot of rubber to be spinning around the place. Really need truck axles/driveline to put up with stress involved.

[quote="DMcCready]went on a snow trip the other weekend over here in the land of Maple Syrup
( BC Canada) A couple of the trucks had these tyres. They are freakin huge! and flat out worked in the snow. They did love to feed on axle shafts and u joints though haha

Nothing to serious. I've got a wee bit of work with the cab and a whole heap of bar work to do so it only getting a SOA.
I WANT TO GET THIS F#@KER GOING AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
Bought some cheap ass rims and tyres today. Only 35s and nothing flash but it gets me rolling.

Re: Tomsoffroad Cruiser Tidy up
Finally got some thing done. The plans changed quite abit.
Im dragging it back on the road as a daily driver
It'll also be expected to tow a trailer without complaint when needed
Basicly a mall crawler
After very little thought I decided to stick with the 1/4 eliptic but ditch the hinge idea and just bolt the leaves to the chassis. Less flex but still plenty for a d/d. Doing this also got rid of all my unloading issues
The front got its soa. Still thinking of a shackel reversal but dont know if I can be naffed. We'll see

Made a little progress this weekend. I used the 60 fuel tank (slightly modified
) which is now done and in the truck. Its yet to be sealed and undersealed. Also got a bit of the rear wall done.

Clearance in the front should be sweet brother. If not I'll clearance it on the trail
Its mainly going to be a mall crawler on the BFG's but will be good too have the other feet keep up with your toy Nibs. I think you'll get to keep your flex king title tho......... For now

Re: Tomsoffroad Cruiser Tidy up
that bar work came out awesome. How does that work with if you were to actually go for cert, with covering the rear wheels etc?
