Highly sprung

I have just brought a 1986 vx cruser with cable diff locks.
Been looking on the site but can't see anything about doing a body lift on it.
I'm
Looking at a. Two inch body lift and a four inch spring lift so I can put 33x12 on ten inch rims. Are ther any complacations that may Pop up.

You don't need anywhere near that amount of lift for 33's on a 60 series (if that is what the truck is). Maybe 2" spring lift is all that is required.

Ive got 33s on my standard height 60series and they dont rub, so the lift is an over kill for 33s.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

ive got 33x13.5 on 15x10 rims on my 60 series land cruiser. they only rub on the back inside wheelarche when the wheel goes right up but doesnt effect it. I think it may have been lifted 2" and it has 2 xtra leafs in the rear. I had problems with the front springs getting stuck between the front spring hanger mount and the chassis. Its was a real prick to try get it back down again. Fixed it by changing the spring hangers. Now has a little stopper on it now it sweet as

Where are you located mudlark? I have a set of 60 series 2" lift springs in very good condition. 60 series sold now so no need for the springs. PM me if you are interested in buying. Located in Tauranga.

welcome to the forum. Im in invers to.
If your going to put 33s on i'd only go 8inch rims or you'll catch the wheel arch. Also helps keep the tyre on when dropping pressures.
Try and get some longer shocks as with the lift the stanard ones will top out real easy and fail
