Rust in Gutter

Post by jolle »

Hi guys
my beauty needs a cosmetic surgery. Along the gutter.
Do you guys have experience with that?
We are looking at probably 1.5 m of replacement/repair.
I'm not an expert but i could imagine it is a sh.. spot to get it repaired.
Is it worth doing it. I actually like to keep her but......$$$$
ah... its a 88 lwb high roof
Thank you

have a look at the second pic down, that was about 800mm of full on rust.. if you take your time and let it cool down its fine, i had to do the rear aswell, just cut all the rust out dont be tempted to not repair a bit that doesnt look to bad, get it all at the same time. ive repaired about 4 gq roofs now... my advice would be remove the side windows and take down the roof lining its easy to do.
