Waitangi Weekend - 4x4ing

Is anyone in/near Christchurch planning on going 4wding on the 4th, 5th or 6th of Feb? I am looking to go out any of these days and was hoping to be able to tag along if anyone is going out or make something happen on here. Was thinking Waipara or Ashley River? I want to test out my new 4x4 and have 2/3 other trucks wanting to go out as well. Short notice I know but would be great to hear from anyone.

nah im easy. Been out both waipara and ashley a few times. Pretty keen to check out Harrs road, if its even still open. If i don't make it this time, keen for the next

Not sure where Harrs road is I don't think I have ever been there, I'm keen for anywhere, my truck is too clean!
