Yip.
It will end up like this pile of metal.
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

a panel shop or do you have a mig welder, its the spot welds that are broken, :D

As Coxsy says it can be spot wielded. I am wondering what the cause is though :?
Do you have body lift? or do you just hammer the crap out of it like I did mine

If the body mounts are good and tight then i personally wouldn't worry to much.

It's probably just the chassis flexing with the off road use that has caused it.

Seal it up again and just monitor it for a bit.

Don't panic and go spend a grand on getting it welded at a panel shop!!!!!!!!

Ill check all the body mounts today, the hilux is not body lifted. The same looks to be happening on the other side tho not so bad - just starting from underneith. Dont have the skills to repair it myself :(

doesn't look that bad to me at all.
I'd undo the 8-10 bolts holding the outer guard on and have a look from the inside . then just seal it back up and monitor it

2 body mounts on each side were not tight. nipped them up. hope no other damage has been done, at least I found it before it parted company completely .

I"ve got signs of this happening too. The chassis flex's more than the body can handle. Bulletproof's done a great wee mod to prevent this, longer body mount bolts with valve springs added. Been meaning to do mine.
