2LT engine needed. Sad story.

I was just talking to a work mate who had a sad run with his 87 surf.
He was doing an oil and filter change at home. Dropped the oil and pulled off the filter. Went to put the new filter on, purchased earlier and it wouldn't fit. Wrong one. So he packs it in for the day and heads off. Later that day his daughter grabbed the truck keys and headed off in the surf. Completely unnaware that the truck had no oil or filter.

Didn't get far down the road before it seized. Can't imagine what the turbo looks like with no oil.

Anyway he was asking me this morning if I knew of anyone selling a good 2LT.
