Hi all.

Thanks for signing up and being part of this.

I have some times and meeting places etc

Friday/Saturday:

I plan on meeting at Puriri Drive at the time of 4:45pm. I would like to then leave there at around 5pm. We need to do this so as to make sure that we end up arriving at the same time and makes it easier for the organisers to let us in. We will be entering the showgrounds via gate A. there will be a trailer unloading area for those of you that have trailers

If you have a problem with this time please let me know and I will see what I can do.

Sunday:

Meeting at Mercer service station area at 6:30am and leaving there absolutely no later than 6:40am as we need to be in Meremere by absolutely no later than 7am otherwise you will not be able to get entry. This is what I have been told to do, so sorry about the early start. also once there I will need help to setup the Gazebo that I have, so we have some shade etc.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please make sure you bring your form that I sent you before as confirmation of entry. If you do not have it please let me know your email and I will send it to you.

Any problems please do get in touch (email, text or call), otherwise see you on the day.

Cheers

I have already asked the local clubs before, and I am in Norwest too. So have a few of our guys and a few from shore and the rest off here. No other clubs ever got back to me.

yea, the alloy 40 is an ex shore truck, and still my favorite truck. from our club is Henry SJ, Andy BJ40 and Landy, Lolyf Hilux, Michael Hilux, so five actual members trucks.

couple of ORE trucks too

Will see how the crowds like them tomorrow,

Good to meet you today Lincoln, really meant to make it up the hill to see the rest of you guys but being the social butterfly I am I ended up going everywhere else and casually forgot about the idea of going up that hill on foot :P

Terrible days racing in my opinion, 4 N Rotary attracts the wrong type of people and hence racers, I've had a lot more fun at the Competition meetings instead...

I love drag racing but today really didn't push any of my buttons, except for the skanks

good to meet you to Andrew, Yea the racing was a bit crap, so was last year. But still people seemed to be interested in the 4wds and liked them in the morning, well until the main lot of racing got underway and the skids. Still the promo girls who got taken for rides loved. Might need to advertise that we can do rides next year, if its on at all.

And I must say a massive thank you to all that came to be part of it and hope you enjoyed it.

Photos to come tomorrow hopefully.

Cheers

the show was alright, the quality of builds and more so paint jobs is getting better, but there are still some cars like stock evos with a set of alloys in there. but generally was good.
