WTB - TD27 Engine - 96 Terrano

Hey all,

I am looking to buy a TD27 to replace the one that my mum has cooked in her 96 Terrano... (Suspect crack in the head/block, but driven until it died!) Haven't really started looking yet, but thought I would chuck up a post on here and see if anyone has one laying around they want to part with? Don't need powersteering pump/alternator etc as I can just swap them over....

There will be one in turners tauranga very shortly.... It has been written off with frontal damage. Engine was running well prior.

Car also has a yellow top optima battery, good tyres, upgraded exhaust, lifted springs and shocks, manual front hubs, LSD rear diff, decent stereo...

Could probably keep the motor and sell the parts to almost pay for the whole truck...

Isn't a 96 a TD27 ETi?
Would be worth putting one of those in as they have different turbos and bolt on ancillary stuff.
Just a thought.
