Re: toyota 1kz-te auto ecu wanted 3 plug type
These are getting hard to find, from my issues just before Christmas. Manual ones harder though.
You can get your one rebuilt (it is the capacitors that fail) at Anything Electronic in Nelson.

Mine was about $220 for the rebuild, paid for via my local AutoSparky.
Lineside Auto may have one in Rangiora. However I would be sending them a full description and a photo of the plugs, before going further.
I have written up the different ECU numbers here; http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/ ... 9&start=15
Copied quote from me below.

Had a look on there, most useful.
So those numbers above are for the manual trans Prados.
KZN185 man tran is 89661 - 3D230
185 intercooled is - 3D260
KZN130 Man Tran is 89661 - 3D090 for 93 94
94 95 is -3D091
KZJ90 89661- 60510
Hmm will a KZN130 (-3D090) work in my Prado?
I have managed to locate one of these.
