Kaimai Forest park

Post by bryandc3 »

I drive between Hamilton and Tauranga often and all ways wonder if this track is legit or if its just people tearing their own way through the bush. It is at the old kaimai road turn off and there is a DOC sign for the forest on the same intersection. From the road and just driving past I can see a rough track going into the bush, does anyone know what the deal is with it?
Cheers

Not a legal road or anything' but plenty of people just go in, do a skid and come back out as way to break up the trip to TGA.

It only goes in like 50m then stops.

You also need to ask your self if you want to be seen as

"that environmental vandal ripping it up in his 4x4"

right next to the main road
