Stolen parts

Yesterday 19/2/12, between the hours of 10.00am/3.30pm i had stuff stolen from my drive.
An engine block and gearbox, i had put a blue tarp over the engine block with a strop to tie it down and the gearbox was sitting beside it.
There was other scrap steel with it but that was not taken.
The police have been notified as has the scrap metal dealers.

did they leave the tarp? what kind of engine block? any more specifics?

its getting pretty sad when they steal your lada parts :roll:

, i'd be checking out the local scrap dealers ... maybe ask them to keep an eye out

They took the tarp, strop holding it to the engine block and gearbox.
The engine block was a Peugeot diesel engine and the gearbox was also from the same vehicle and would have needed at least two people to lift the block into a ute or van.
I will not say exactly where i live as i dont want a certain person to know where i live (who knows he may try to come round and rip me off more than he already has, and he is not well liked on here)
Makes me think i cant even put up a swing for my son as they may come back and take that away.
