thoughts on smoke issue and what are the 2.4 motors like i heard they do heads but otherwise very limited knowledge

i only needing one for 6ish months until i can get my old girl up and running again as she needs a panel and paint due to rust issues and then a new motor

like your choice on what to buy mate. both worth looking at further. the smokey one. he says glow plugs been done head been done etc so glow plugs arnt the smoke issue so thinking compression may be down and not able to fire the fuel properly.300 km goes with that too. compression test, leak down test a must. I hate those 2.4s but when good they go ok. just seen too many go boom. prados I like. radius arms etc. couple years later prado have 1kz engine. more dollars tho. if it does blow up one of your 350s will sort it

I have a SWB pajero 1990 2.5TD im about to put it up for sale just getting a 3 month rego this week for it, put 1000kms on the RUCs and got a brand new WOF. Has 31" mint A/T goodyear wranglers on it, raised rear and wound torsion bars. Im looking for around $2700 depending, before I bought it the engine was pulled out and rebuilt (15000KMs ago), I did the glow plugs last year and put them on a switch. Let me know if you are keen.

cheers Clive the auto has done a bit less but i think the maneul will tow better
i will get the motor compression tested and go from there

cheers Bryan but im looking for a long wheel base as i have to throw a heap of gear in as well as pull the odd trailor
