kzj78 lift

hi looking at lifting my kzj78 prado.i am looking at a 50 mil lift.i cary a few pasengers around (kids and gear) i have never done this before is there any sugestions on what type of springs and shocks i should use.and also if i just replaced it with standard shocks and springs would it give it much lift.
also is there anything else i would have to do if i go for the 50 mil lift

pm badnuz for a price on suspension with 50mm lift :wink:

unless the vehicle has been lowered or the existing springs are so sagged then generally you will not get any lift by fitting standard springs and shocks.

I think you would be best talking to your local ARB dealer about lift options.

I fitted "standard" Heavy Duty Chamberlin Springs and this gave me approx 50mm of added height, found the H/D in the front were to hard so got Chamberlins to wind up a new front set 50mm higher with the original wire size. Made a big improvement to the ride. :D
