Heres mine, with rear sway bar still in. Do you gain anything by removing it?

Ive never bothered with taking the rear out. Just something folk do for the sake of doing it I think.

Holy sheet  She be mine now... I didn't get (want) the camper in the sale and I have made it a bit more what I wanted since.

Not been on here for a while, in that time I sold the XJ, bought the J Truck, and on Anzac Day another TJ followed me home. Need to resize my pics before I can post any apparently.

Looking good. :D :D
My Father in Law has/had a J20 that he repowered with a Landcruiser petrol engine. He also has a Cherokee Cheif of the same vintage, just going through a tidy up and repaint. Has a diesel 350 in it.

Yep, too long. Things are going well, but I spent a bit of time messing around with a quad, and hadn't really used the XJ for ages. After I bought the J Truck I literally didn't set eyes on it for 5 months, then I got a warrant on it and put it on TradeMe and could have sold it 6 times over. Once it was gone there was a space in the shed that a TJ would fit in...

My truck has a 350 Chev and an auto in it - I expect it did in the camper pictures too as it was that owner that fitted the crate motor. I have most of another one for spares also, and that still has the 258 and manual, not that it will ever be a runner again. Thanks for the FSJ love!

I'll get some more TJ pics soon, but there's a couple of changes at the back end happened or happening soon since this was taken and I'd rather include them.

How's things with you?

Oh, and x2 on pics of the J20 and full size Cherokee!

J20 is now sold to a mate and is in his shed getting some work done. 4.0 litre falcon motor, Lime Geen paint job, and full exo bar work, and custom stepside deck. I have no picks of it at all.

Cherokee just after last repaint and panel about 12 years ago

Good enough. Looks fantastic - a full size Cherokee is what I'd really like, but it's so much easier to justify 22 l/100km when you can move 3 m3 of firewood or 25 bales of hay with it.

Not been out in it at all yet. I've only had 3 weekends with it because it was away getting Speedlinered for 2 of them since I bought it, and I've been busy working on it.

So far I've stripped out the carpet and roll bar padding, painted the cage black, swapped the roof for a bowless one, replaced all the flares, fitted the snorkel and rear flush mount LEDs, put in a body lift and MML, rewired and relocated the PRS and mounted the compressor and fire extinguisher. That has taken most of the spare time I've had when it's been at home. Hopefully get it out in a couple of weeks.
