River Hack
Hi all,
Having recently sold the hilux, and still being infected with 4wd bug, I am after a river hack truck. Would love to get my hands on an old landrover, but will consider anything.
Looking for something I can chuck on farm reg so the cops can't rape me. Pre dented panels, headlights/windows missing, rust in the body are all good, hopefully not any big mechanical issues.
Have not got a big budget so the cheaper the better really.
Thanks fellas

Re: River Hack
If you know anyone heading up to the Clarence area in the next few weeks with a transport trailer (1/2hr north of Kaikoura) I have a 2dr Terrano here for a small donation. TD27, very smokey so probably needs EGR's blocked and injector cleaner put through (5spd too)

Re: River Hack
Sorry for slow reply, here's a couple of pics, so as you can see, it is rough. Haven't started it in around a year or so, so will either need to winch on trailer or bring battery and ether to get going (assuming it still goes). Should be good for gearbox etc if wanted to use for parts only though.

Re: River Hack
Hi Dave, Can do $100 this Sunday morning?
Re: River Hack
Not likely to be about with this crap weather heading this way. If I head down, the best I can do is leave it in the paddock for you to pick up. I will update tomorrow.
Got it started, but it's very smokey/rattley, so up to you if you want it. If I get down there to put it in the paddock, you can just pay into my account.
