So I started pulling the head



I took the head into Flemmings to be tested and reconditioned. Nek minit, I discover the cracked block

So the out came the block

And I sourced a good replacement this week

Bought a new clutch kit, spigot bearing and rear crank seal. Put that together last night as well as the throw out bearing

All ready to go back in this weekend.
I've ordered most of the parts I need - head gasket, intake mani gasket, water pump, thermostat gasket, cam and front crank seals. Valve stem seals to go to Flemmings to put in the head.
Waiting to hear back from Holland's to see if they can source the head bolts, crank bolt, timing belt cover/seal and water hoses.
It's getting there though, all going perfect I should have it done next weekend - but I always give myself an extra week for those wee problems which present themselves
