Watch out for rapidly rising rivers if this weather system gets that far south. Worst of it should be well north of Canterbury but there may be quite of lot of rain in the upper catchment areas....

I looked at the methven lions trip but that's too much money and that one starts in oaro which is a bit too far

Yea thanks guys was good fun, I think I've pulled a muscle in my shoulder though, with all that axe swinging :-)

Ashley flow rate and height are crazy numbers now.....glad we flagged driving up the river bed.

Yea I think the simex's would have made it a little easier on the truck ;-) ... right foot got a workout :-D
