Could be keen to come for a look. You going to drive in some of the way? Would be rude not to... Although I can see that turning into a trip right round

It would be worth taking some saws/picks/shovels/dynamite to make the waterfall track a little wider. When we went through it was only about Suzuki+100mm wide. Lucky it was dark so I couldn't see how deep the abyss was

Yep, zuky (Hugo) and I are keen, but I need to be back in Dorkland before 5 otherwise I'm dead. Missus has some romantic evening planned or something.

We are going to head down early as possible so we can get back on time.

Hugo is an alcoholic... er.. alcohol enthusiast though, so maybe not that early. Planning on leaving about 8:00am. Probably stop for bacon and eggs on the way too. I guess we'll be there about 10:30-11.
We'll probably be in my blue zuk, or maybe his white zuk.

Are you guys keen to head in earlier too?

Is that Ant's Mu? How the hell did he break the axle housing?
Although it does look like it was help together with mud, straw and brake hoses....

Are all the other guys out OK or are they still in there / need a hand?

I love the crutch... Have you seen the Worlds Fastest Indian? Burt Munro does the same thing, but on the road

Just got home ....... the track is definately knarlier than it was 2 yrs ago when I last went round.

It took me & the dogs a little under 2 3/4 hrs & that included about 20-30mins chatting to the guys on their way out. By the time I got there they were only a coiple of winches away from being done.

There has been a nasty slip at the waterfall corner which takes big balls to drive now ....... a lot of work is going to be needed here.
Image
Also a mess is one of the stream crossings ..... now a serious rock climb out whichever direction your going.

My assessment is that I'd still be happy to do it but with no fewer than 3 trucks & no more than 6. All would have to be equipped with winches & pref lockers, tyres 33" min req. I would also go-anti clockwise as that way the big hill is downhill :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

The 3 trucks I saw in there were well set up with what appeared to be competant crews ....... so remember this track is a very serious undertaking.
